What should I consider when buying / selecting a chair?
It is important to note that selecting chairs is an important part for the safe work environment! A backrest shaped to support the lower back,

A swivel mechanism,
Armrests that can be adjusted to the elbow height when your upper arms are hanging down and your forearms are at about a 90 degree angle to the upper arms,
Armrests that do not interfere with free movements within the workstation.

Those are good tips for selecting the perfect office chair. Employers really do need to step up and invest in ergonomically sound furniture. It will save them plenty in worker's compensation claims and lost productivity over the long term.
